American Religious Responses to the Holocaust Course

The American Catholic History Research Center and University Archives and the Catholic University Department of Education announce a new professional development course for Catholic High School teachers to be held on the campus of Catholic University and at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. The course, American Religious Responses to the Holocaust, will run from July 8-12, 2013. For details, see American Religious Responses to the Holocaust Course.

Hartke, O.P. played many roles in his life: an advocate for the arts, a friend of the entertainment world’s biggest stars, an advisor to presidents, the face of America in foreign lands, an earnest teacher, and a devout spiritual guide. Learn more about the legendary founder of CUA’s Drama Department as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of its formation with an exhibition showcasing Father Hartke’s legacy.

Patrons with library fines at CUA libraries* may bring in non-perishable food items to the Mullen Library’s Circulation Desk. For each food item, fines will be reduced by $1.00.

*Fines from other WRLC institutions do not qualify for exchange. Fees from Lost Item Replacement or Lost Item Processing do not qualify for exchange.
Food donations will be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank. Please be sure to review their “Most Wanted Items” list.

Digital Art Lab Open House, Friday, March 22, 1 to 4 p.m.

The Department of Art presents the first of a semester-long series of Friday afternoon Open Houses, this week featuring a lecture by Daniel Yum, research specialist, lab coordinator, and Apple Genius. Yum will discuss how to use Mac computers, including how they function and how they differ from the Windows operating systems, among other topics. A Q-and A session follows this lecture.

University Libraries Closed on March 6
