Workshop: Data Visualization Basics

Have you wondered when you should use a pie chart (almost never), a scatter plot, or a heat graph?

Before working on how to best present your project through data visualization, understanding the basic principles of visual perception, design and representing data, and communicating your research to an audience, is essential. We will examine how your data can be applied to various visualization methods and how to visually present data accurately.
