Picture1FOOD FOR FINES – From Monday, November 16 through Monday, November 30, for each nonperishable food item donated at Mullen Library, get $1 off outstanding fines!* Donations will benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Part of CUA Campus Ministries’ Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, November 14-22. *CUA overdue fines only; lost item replacement fees and other WRLC fines not eligible.

THANKSGIVING HOURS – In observance of Thanksgiving, Mullen Library will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24 and remain closed through Friday, November 27. Mullen will be open on Saturday, November 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Normal hours will resume Sunday, November 29. For full hours, including campus libraries, please visit

DynaMed – The University Libraries has a trial to the DynaMed database through 1/15/16. To access the trial, go to,uid&profile=dynamed. This link will work on and off campus. The database is also in the A-Z list, and is under the Nursing/Health Science Databases category. Description of the database from is a clinical information resource used by physicians to answer clinical questions quickly and easily at the point of care. It includes thousands of topics that provide clinicians and educators with the evidence-based information they need to make informed decisions.
