The “Show-Biz” Priest: The Legend and Influence of Father Hartke [exhibit]

Father Gilbert V. Hartke, O.P. played many roles in his life: an advocate for the arts, a friend of the entertainment world’s biggest stars, an advisor to presidents, the face of America in foreign lands, an earnest teacher, and a devout spiritual guide. Learn more about the legendary founder of CUA’s Drama Department as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of its formation with an exhibition showcasing Father Hartke’s legacy.

Coverage is in the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities. Also includes Journal Citation Report to identify the importance of the journal to YOUR specific subject area.  

 

Digital Art Lab Open House, Friday, March 22, 1 to 4 p.m.

The Department of Art presents the first of a semester-long series of Friday afternoon Open Houses, this week featuring a lecture by Daniel Yum, research specialist, lab coordinator, and Apple Genius. Yum will discuss how to use Mac computers, including how they function and how they differ from the Windows operating systems, among other topics. A Q-and A session follows this lecture.
