Managing, organizing, and documenting your data is an increasing concern for researchers. This workshop is an overview of research data management basics, including using data management plans; following proper guidelines for naming and organizing data, folders, and files; organizing, storing, and backing up your files; and documenting your data using README files, codebooks, and data dictionaries. This workshop will provide you with techniques in managing your data (and time!) better.
