Notice to CUA Faculty

Beginning in the Fall ’08 semester, CUA Libraries will implement three policy changes to affect faculty borrowing privileges.  The changes to policy follow recommendations by the Library Committee of the Academic Senate.  The policies will affect only faculty that abuse library privileges egregiously and are as follows:

Failure to return a recalled item within 7 days of its recall due date will result in a fee of $25.00 per item.

Failure to return InterLibrary Loan (ILL) material by the stated due date are subject to any fines and fees imposed by the lending library.  In addition, failure to return ILL material within 39 days of the stated due date will result in a fee of $30.00 per item.

Faculty with outstanding library fines or fees (including any WRLC and ILL fees) in excess of $100.00 will lose borrowing privileges until all materials have been returned or renewed and all outstanding fees paid in full.
