Man Booker Prize for Fiction 2011 shortlist was announced on Tuesday, September 6th:

Carol Birch, Jamrach’s Menagerie

Patrick deWitt, The Sisters Brothers

Esi Edugyan, Half Blood Blues (on order)

Stephen Kelman, Pigeon English

A.D. Miller, Snowdrops

The award is open to novels written by a citizen of a country of the Commonwealth, Ireland and Zimbabwe.  The winner will be announced October 18th.
