New Research Guide for Dissertations and Theses

Trying to locate a dissertation or thesis? Start with our new research guide: Dissertations and Theses. This guide will assist graduate students in locating dissertations, and writing their own dissertation. The guide has information on:

  • specific instructions for locating dissertations at Catholic University of America
  • locating dissertations at other American institutions
  • locating foreign and open access dissertations
  • procedures for requesting dissertations through interlibrary loan
  • guidelines for writing and submitting your dissertation or thesis.

New Libguide: Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

The Religious Studies and Humanities Services department has created an information guide on the canonization process for Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.  In the guide you will find biographical sources, information on the canonization process, prayers, unique CUA material, a collection of Fulton Sheen videos, works on and by Fulton Sheen, and a selection of news articles. We invite you to join us in excitement and anticipation as Archbishop Sheen moves through the process to become the first American born priest to achieve sainthood.

Research guides for Jane Austen and Old English Language and Literature

The Religious Studies and Humanities Services department is happy to showcase two new research guides for English Studies created by Nicole Clery and Katherine Kane respectively:
